2 years, in the rearview mirror

Beyond Solo: Celebrating 2 years of a Collaborative Approach to growth, impact, and Organizational Magic!

As your Organization Development partner, I’m celebrating 2 years in business (a little late).

This year, I had the pleasure of advising many amazing people to help them move from feelings of UNCERTAINTY to HOPE and FOCUS.

Here are just a few highlights:

  • Developed executives at a global manufacturing company to enhance their leadership skills via assessment-based coaching; group workshops; and small cohort coaching.
  • Launched a Community of Practice partnership with the University of San Francisco for all regional academics and practitioners of Organization Development and affiliated fields on behalf of the Bay Area OD Network, a 501(c)(3).
  • Built a culture of Collaborative Wellness to support existing organizational Wellness Programs at a State Human Services department.
  • Enhanced Managers’ leadership skills at a USA Top 20 Most Populous City to support cross collaboration and internal knowledge integration via team coaching, workshops, and an incubator of culture champions.
  • Elevated Inclusion & Leadership skills of managers at a USA Top 15 Most Populous City focusing on the feedback process as core to belonging and productivity.
  • Equipped managers at a USA Top 15 Most Populous City with meeting design and multi-modal facilitation skills with a special focus on Power dynamics via a Meeting Management series. Five cohorts served to date.
  • Recruited 2 new board members for the Bay Area OD Network, a 501(c)(3).

I have been thrilled to provide support and development to industry and government leaders and managers who wish to both

  • show up better for and
  • provide development support to their peers, supervisors, and direct reports.

It may surprise you to read that, as a solo-entrepreneur, I operate as a leader and contributor to teams! In fact, 80% of my work has been with a team of colleagues to provide the greatest impact with the teams and organizations trusting me and us.

And the other 20%?

While I may be the only consultant on the project, I thrive in leadership positions. I also convene and engage with a diverse and brilliant set of humans to deepen my thinking and application. Some of them, I’ve worked with previously; others, I know and trust as a strategic advisor. I have long-term mentorship relationships that increase my ability to best support my clients – YOU!

To continuously serve my clients and community, I have also focused on increasing my proficiency in a continuously evolving work environment by ensuring my skills remain cutting-edge and relevant.

These certifications have been added to my treasure chest:

  1. Hogan Personality Assessments Practitioner
  2. Government Contracting: Women-Owned, Federal, and California Small Business
  3. Workflow Specialist Certification for Collaborative Workload Management via Asana)
  4. CPR/AED/First Aid Responder

My purpose for providing support and challenging leaders is my North Star and has already  proven that the skills and intentionality I have increases others’ capabilities to both lead and follow; to be curious and experiment; to test and verify; to lean into hard conversations; to build bridges for the betterment of the workplace and the individuals they directly impact.

Thank you for being a part of it.

What a journey it’s been! Here’s to many more.
